Cancellations, checking in and checking out

We accept reservations online. As a small 5 guestroom inn, last minute cancellations can greatly impact our business. We take a 50% deposit upon booking which is refundable as long as you let us know about your change in plans at least 72 hours in advance. If you are booking two rooms (under one name or multiple names), we require one week notice of cancellation. More than two rooms booked (under one name or multiple names) requires two weeks notice. Deposits are kept for cancellations made beyond the required notice. Same day cancellations will result in a full charge of the entire scheduled stay. (Please note, guests may be responsible for credit card processing fees incurred)

Check in begins at 3:00pm.

Check out is at 11am.

Granville House is a non-smoking property.

children

A stay at Granville House is designed to be a getaway experience. To be considerate of all guests staying with us, we respectfully welcome children aged 10 and over.

pets

We love dogs. As a matter of fact, we have a friendly one ourselves (Sadie). With that in mind, Granville House gladly welcomes well-behaved dogs (sorry no other furry creatures) with a few guidelines and a $20 per night charge.

  • To be considerate of other guests in the house, we ask that you only bring your dog if you can assure that there will not be excessive barking,

  • All dogs must be kept on a leash while on the property. Please be sure to clean up after your dog.

  • Please keep dogs off of the beds and furniture and no bathing of your dog during your stay.

  • Dogs are not permitted in the dining room during breakfast (unless they are service dogs).

  • PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG ALONE IN THE ROOM WHILE YOU ARE AWAY FROM THE PROPERTY.

  • Guests are responsible for any damages to the room and its contents.

We are committed to safety and health of our guests, our community and ourselves. After close monitoring of Massachusetts Government and CDC guidelines for lodging protocols, we no longer require our guests to wear masks while on property. If you are more comfortable wearing a mask, we encourage you to do so, however it is not mandatory.
