Where do we begin? The Berkshires feature some of the best museums, historical homes and performing arts venues on the Northeast Coast. During your stay, we highly recommend you visit The Clark Institute, Mass MoCa, Norman Rockwell Museum, Hancock Shaker Village and Berkshire Museum. The most beautiful historical homes include The Mount, Chesterwood, Naumkeag, Arrowhead and the W.E.B. Du Bois Birthplace. For the performing arts lover, no visit to the Berkshires is complete without experiencing Tanglewood, Jacob’s Pillow, The Mahaiwe Theater, Berkshire Theatre Group, Barrington Stage Company, The Guthrie Center and Shakespeare and Company.

Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall, The Berkshires provide a stunning backdrop for outdoor activity. Enjoy some of the best hiking the Northeast has to offer by visiting Monument Mountain, Mount Greylock, The Appalachian Trail and Bear Mountain. Skiers will be in their element with Butternut, Catamount, Otis Ridge and Jiminy Peak within a short distance drive. Other outdoor delights include Bash Bish Falls State Park, the Berkshire Botanical Garden, Lake Mansfield and the Housatonic River Walk.
